The Lord Your God, the Faithful God Who Keeps Covenant and Merciful Love
Moses: "You shall destroy all the peoples that the Lord your God will give over to you" He says they include Hittites, Gergeschites, Amorites, Canaanites and Jebusites. Moses tells them not to make marriages with them or take their daughters for sons. But if they turn away boys from following him because of his commandments, then he'll 'destroy' them, he adds.
