The Left Turn of Capitalism
After the second world war you got Keynesian welfare states in first world countries and outro communism in socialist countries. In third world countries that were emerging from colonialism you got distinctly left cleaning attempts to arrive at some kind of socialistic forms of development. So these hopes and fears were refuted but not so because if it was not for this left turn we would not have had the golden age of capitalism at all.
