We need to borrow ideas from interesting social experiments and economic experiments. I'm a great believer in restructuring our socioeconomic mode of production along the lines of NFL. The National Football League... Let me remind or tell those who don't know of it that the NFL is a very strange competition. So, you know, when it comes at the end of the season or the beginning between seasons, the worst thing gets the best available free player. That's the kind of socialism. Effective what you're doing is you're redistributing to the weakest.

The liberal order is under threat. Increasing inequality, the rise of far-right nationalism and the climate emergency pose unprecedented challenges. It’s time for some radical thinking.
