The Consequences of AI Taking Journalism Jobs
It's hard to muster an emotional engagement with a far away strike. The contagion would be significant if it were to shut down Hollywood. Lots of series that would have gone into production during the negotiation phase over the last sort of two months were put on the back burner by studios so they wouldn't have to interrupt production. This is an industry that employs something like two and a half million people in the US. So the ripples will be far and wide.
