The History of Fingerprints

In the 1930s, an ophthalmologist suggested using iris patterns as a way to identify people. It took more than 50 years before someone would come up with a computer algorithm that could match one person's iris pattern to another in a database. Now there are lots of companies that do this kind of biometrics but we've got a lot more to talk about with biometrics.
