Is God a Father?
There is this deep trauma of fatherlessness, which then defines our actions. The Baylor School of Leadership has an incredible retreat to where they can come and essentially process all the racism that happens in their schools. And so within that context, they have someone that they essentially call like a doula to kind of help them through the process spiritually. For me, it was in introspective right prayer. It was in coming to God. We're brought into this father and this son into the dynamic of love. I saw the model of fatherhood and sonship redeemed.
