On november 20 sixth two thousand and eight, olindo and rosa were found guilty of first gree murder. The police would plain that they bugged the couple's home with listening devices after neighbors had brought up their suspicions around this couple. Within days of the murders, rosa was overheard on one of these listening devices saying to olindo, see how peaceful it is now we can finally sleep well. They were each sentenced to life in prison, where for the first three years, they would spend every daylight hour in solitary confinement.
