Introduction

Mary Eberstadt holds the pannular chair in Christian culture at the Catholic Information Centre in Washington, D.C. She's an essayist, a novelist and a frequent public speaker whose books of non-fiction include How the West Really Lost God. Ironically, as we record, I'm in Sydney. She's in Melbourne, but we will be face to face before she returns home.
