In Alma 36, when we've got Alma telling his son, Heelom and all about his own repentance. All his transgressions that he have committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him in his righteousness that he hath done, shall he live. And the thought gets kind of rounded out later on in the chapter in verse 20, the soul that sineth, that shall die. Remember our past with peace. I love that phrase. It doesn't say I could remember my sins no more, but it says I could remembered what I did without hurting anymore. The atonement can help us do is feel forgiven of our past, but remember it appropriately.
