Is There a Big Draw Down in Total Employment?
Even with forty year high unit labor cost inflation at nine point five %, an all time low, in productivity growth at two point minus two point five % eur year, we're still talking about earnings that are growing 5 to 10%. And so there's clearly something to the statement that, hae. You don't see a real big shock to the labor market and an aggregate income, then you're probably not going to see a big shock to employment. So it really does matter terms of the pace of decelebration on inflation. But given that labor market situation, does at increase the odds that it might look something like a soft landing? Yes.
