The Importance of Intentionality in Spiritual Growth
Growth in spiritual life, how growth in contemplative life that at the beginning, there's going to be more effort and it's going to take a little bit more work. But as it goes on as actually grown holiness, it becomes more and more the Lord's work. The Lord himself waters the garden and the soul does not work at all. And so I think this water analogy is just really beautiful because at some point he wants to give us himself and do it himself. Like God comes for the deeper breakthroughs in our spiritual life.
