Forgiveness, mercy is twice blessed. It blesses the one who gives it and the one who receives it. I sometimes wonder if the one who came back came back because he was the least one to expect mercy from the Jewish rabbi. You can't feel pride and gratitude at the same time in your heart. If we expect a lot and get it, it can create pride. We want to go build our bitter barns because we earned it, we deserved it, we were. When you don't expect something and get it that the gratitude goes deep.
