The idea that the te companies are making stuff based on what a computer tells them is, i think, mostly just fully not true. There's probably a little less control because it's just hard to do that when you're producing at such a volume. When hollywood has always been a town of copying, basically worse. If something works on one network or from one studio, everyone else wants to do the same thing.
