The Importance of Avoiding Technical Fixes
In Minneapolis, for example you have this pretty ambitious push to override single family zoning. And actually another example this is not from the United States but I think it's still worth pointing to is in New Zealand. So as much as I was talking about the value of doing fairly boring technical fixes, I think a lot of these other states and international examples like New Zealand also should tell us that you can do something big and bold and clean,. Not especially complicated, but that both has a ton of both symbolic political value and real substantive value.
