i'm kind of talking about it ambivalently working in both these domains is we would ask a question some questions like why exactly do we call investing in our military which has bases in like a hundred you know more odd countries? i think the partisan frame or a narrowly political economic frame either doesn't want you to ask or can accommodate your asking. people who operate within that frame are going to be sometimes a little bit uh well you could say no pun intended defensive when you start thinking about this. I may be writing a check to this fascist but i disidentify with the fascist and that's how i can deal with it. That actually has a lot of utility at looking at the present
