The Ede Fix by Bu Berlios
The impulsive rising and falling of the line, as if his heart is racing aster and faster. Often he even fools the musicians playing the piece into coming in wrong. The sudden dynamic shifts, the strange harmonies, it all makes for a rather frantic feeling to the musicthe anxiety continues into the development. And in all honesty, this is probably my favorite part of the movement, because however wild the music has been before, berlios keeps uping the anti. Music like this was practically pornographic for the time.
