Hall appealed to a contact within the Vichy administration to have the 12 men released. Instead, they were transferred to Morsac, an internment camp near the Armistice line. Hall recruited Gabby Bloch, the wife of one of the imprisoned agents who was allowed to visit her husband at Morsac. Madam Bloch would arrive for her visits with innocent-looking food parcels packed full of useful equipment.
