God's Connection With Humanity

In this Genesis and iconic, anti-iconic tradition, there aren't statues that look like God. Instead, it's humanity. So, people were created to be the ones at whom you could look. It is a visible representation of the God. And it's an indication that this is the place where that God rules and is at work.
