Most of the hormones that are released by the pituitary gland are released by. the anterior pituitary, but there are in addition a couple that arereleased by the posterior pituitary. So these different axes that I talked about exist as part of the endocrine system. There's also the HPP axis, which is hypothalamus pituitary and prolactin, which is a hormone involving lactation. And then we'll talk about the major glands that they affect.
