The Importance of Unity in the Lord Jesus
Peter says, without having seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy. And that love gets purified through times of dryness, times of distraction and times of desolation where we keep showing up. That's one of the reasons why as Christians, we, gosh, the reality of coming from different countries, speaking different languages, belonging to different races is essentially nullified. All of those are unified in the Lord Jesus.
