In incrome, if you go to application service workers, there's a link that says, see all registrations. And i will just take you to like a a browser page that will show you every single sight that has a registered service worker. So these sights are using service workers. Yet generally its like the ap, no service workers found. Can you do this in incrome or in fire fox? I want to go to notion and see if they do anything. Surprisingly interesting. No service workers on notion.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk through the fundamentals of web workers and service workers - examples, when you should use them, how to debug, local dev, and more.
