The Problem With Salmonella
Salmonella is pretty easy to kill. It's not like some of the bacteria that we've talked about that have like very environmentally hardy spores or anything. Cooking your food properly does kill the bacteria and it does have a really high infectious dose. Yeah, it is also though really easy to contaminate other parts of the kitchen. Everything has to be really well cleaned, including things that you aren't going to cook like salad greens or fruits. These things need to be washed. And that can really be a challenge sometimes. It really can.
