The Metropolitan Police's Approach to Enforcing Covid Regulations
The police are in an incredibly difficult position now, because they have to justify why they didn't investigate the previous ones. There was just enough prima facia evidence that those took place, as there is for this one. People criticised the police who were on the door of number ten and said, well, surely they must have known there was a party going on. But i think their argument is we didn't have that engagement bit in number ten, so therefore bollo didn't have the chance. Well, clearly, b i mean, means that unless they witness a murder, they can't retrospectively investigate it. And so they were unlucky.
