The Analyse of the Bad Object
The analyst is no longer an ideal, but at times becomes demonized. The patient is no longer presenting his good self. All of the split off bad celves start to emerge into the analysis as well. And this is necessary and represents progress. But if it comes so destructive that the analysisi is wrecked, then obviously that's not the outcome we want to see. Ok? Soa the bad object, fairbern now begins to develop the idea that there is no one bad object, but two. He splits the bad object into two components, which are tantalizing, teasing and a rejecting object.
