Dan Rivers: How do we remove the splinter when groups are being fed different information and they have their filters that keep them mistrusting others? He says culture wars turn into real wars like violent wars. The more fear and stress there is in the atmosphere, he says, the more people get rigid and tight against each other. "We forget our larger belonging," said Rivers of this limited idea of a separate self.
