Identity Politics - The Largest Most Influential and Dangerous Version of Them

I think it is the larger sense of politics that's being identified as exclusionary and there's a call for a rearticulation of those basic principles. The largest most influential and dangerous version of identity politics that we are living with in this world is white supremacy. And so I think that we often imagine that identity politics is a fragmenting process that the left is responsible for or that has happened inside the left but actually the largest and most noxious, most destructive one is white identity politics.
