i started doing genomics after so, back then i was kind of a me, classically trained molecular geneticists. We work primarily on microbes and yeast is like the crucible of molecular biology. A lot of the stuff is discovered in yeast. Juse cause it's easy to work with. You know, you carry ou like, you and me, fast dividing give results quic fast.
