The Fed and the Treasury - A Brief History
Starting at the fedal reserve board of governors in washington in 19 71, and i was there for ten years. I sawa monetary policy being made up close for that interval. Toward the end of that mostly i worked at that time on capital floes among industrial countries us. Balance of payments analysis and that sort of thing. In the nineties, i did a variety of things, both on theory of crises and the analysis of what had happened. And i think i helped move the institution toward the brady plana which became his plan.
