The Power of Care for the Vulnerable

If you don't have a heart for those people who are on the margins of society, God won't listen to your prayers. The test for genuine religion is to the degree that we extend aid to the unlovable and vulnerable. So when God tells us to care for the orphan in the widow, what he's doing is he's saying, care about the same people that I care about.
