Some presidents, the more you learn about them, the more impressed you are. There's some who rose to the occasions in ways that people didn't expect. Chester arthur did a remarkably good job given how woefully underprepared he was. John adams loved his wife and had a great relationship with his wife. So there are things about them that you can really latch on to even if their presidencies weren't topnotch.
