Why Do the Earth and Mercury Have No Moons?

Of the eight planets in the solar system, of course, the earth has one moon. Two of the planets have no moons, mercury and venus. The other five planets have 204 moons in between them. Andres thinks we have the sun to thank for the space beam. It might be that anything else the sun is basically going to steal from us.
