Sally Kohn: For people that don't have self-awareness, you have to have some recognition of what the pattern is. She says if you tend to get overwhelmed and interrupt people all the time because you need things to go a certain way, she suggests giving yourself a mantra which helps you take a pause in that moment. Kohn: If you're going into a situation where you've got an awkward conversation with your boss or are worried about being judged by others, it's helpful to remind yourself he's a jerk. You could do that if you really feel anxious; I call it the cry feeling.
