The Importance of a PhD
In our last year at Winchester, we spent only seven hours a week in class. I think to anyone of my generation or younger, it's an astonishing thought that someone could be in school in formal instruction for so few hours. Today, many children are very highly scheduled from dawn until dusk. Do you think boredom is important? Yes. And why is that? Well, that's the most creative time when you develop your own thoughts when there's no input.
