Pranolol to Reduce Cesarean Delivery and Prolonged Labor

Dr. Bolaga: I think it's a great example of, you know, taking a look at what we do every day in practice. The one thing I did find, although it didn't hit statistical significance, was that the frequency of postpartum hemorrhage was higher in the pranol group. So interesting paper, kind of, this one shows at least in this study that pranol didn't work and wasn't helpful in managing these patients. It probably shouldn't be considered in the armamentarium of trying to reduce cesarean delivery rate.
