Is There Something We Can Do About It?

Is thereanything we can do? I'm thinking about, like asmov's rules of robotics or something. Any superintelligence that exists is going to be a roll of the dice no matter how well thought out it is by us. We obviously owe it to our children, certainly to ourselves, to give a superintolegenc the best odds of being altruistic and having benefit all mankind, rather than destroying it. And i think the best way to do that is some kind ofo salamos level, manhattan project level, national, wolly, global coordinated effort.
