Elon musk filed on friday to back out of the deal that would have seen him buy twitter for forty four billion dollars. He claims the company lied about how many fake accounts are on its platform. The company plans to take the testlacl to court and force him to go through with the deal, or potentially make him pay a one billion dollar fee to walk away from it. This legal battle could take months, but ex s think twitter has the upper hand, partly because musk didn't make many stipulations in his acquisition.
