The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Tactical Operations
The National Missile Defense Center in 1983 had a big screen. The alerts would come up on that big screen it would they would have after some number crunching they would get a geolocation on where the launches quote unquote were emanating from. They did geolocate it to Grand Force Air Force base pretty quickly. It's not clear just how much they were able to see but they were getting signals from certainly from the IR that he was asking his analysts to analyze in real time.
