The Troubled Teen: A Novel Set in the Mid 1990s

He's got a sort of disembodied criminal self that appears to have done these things. I'm interested in a historical novel that breaks the rules of the historical novel by kind of showing, not telling. Particularly as a teenage boy, he's a bragger. He's in a cultural tribe. It's all show for him. So I was interested in that little bit of distance. And also, at the end of a long period of conservative government in the UK before a notional time of change and progressive energy.
