Anita Hill's testimony against Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas was called into question by former EEOC Public Affairs Director Barbara Wright. Schwartz got her on the phone two days before Anita Hill was scheduled to testify. She told him that Thomas was like an annoying fly, but she sounded like a credible witness. The next day federal marshals showed up at Wright's house with a subpoena compelling her to fly to Washington right away.
