The Importance of Hydrating Your Body

Someone said, is it normal to feel fat and bloated the day before in the morning of my marathon? I like to call it doughy at the start line. When we're storing carbohydrates as glycogen, it's one gram of carb with three grams of water. So our body is hanging on to a significant amount of fluid when we're running or starting that race. We want to hang onto those carbohydrates or our performance is going to suffer.
