The Data Tells a Different Story
In 2000 just 20 years ago the number was 60 percent of the world had access to safe drinking water. Today 75 percent and the estimate is we'll cross the 80 percent mark within the next eight years. The southern hemisphere, their deforestation peaked at around 1980, so roughly 40 years later. And it's been declining. That's not the expected answer. No not at all. It's a story of things getting better.
