"We can't be preaching to the others saying, you have to decarbonize and we've not done our part within our health care facilities," she says. "The evidence of the health impacts of climate change is already at a sufficient level." The World Health Organization has been doing a good job in terms of elevating the climate change and health nexus, for example, in COP15 negotiations. But more can be done in terms of one walking the talk, Dr. Nasser adds.
