Is the Recycling System Broken?
We're finding more and more plastic from coco cola every single year, even when we have less volunteers out collecting. So far, we aren't seeing any change coming about from cococola's voluntary commitments. We need to stop relying on recycling full stop, and start reducing plastic as much as possible. Even in country like the united kingdom, where i'm based, we are supposedly one of the best in the world at re cycling. And we have to export about 50 % of our re cycled waste to lower income countries because we can't re cycle it all here. It's not economical.
