If the Chinese actually succeed in biting a piece of Indian territory, I am sure this government will not take that lying down. And it could invite a very massive and very heavy retaliation, maybe even non-conventional retaliation. So, I think they would be tempted to do this, but I don't think it makes any sense for a sane, rational Chinese leader to indulge in a massive venture with India. But we have to be eternally vigilant, center vigilance, like they say in Latin,. Never ever underestimate the enemy and never let your guard down.
