The Importance of Clinical Signs and Symptoms

The typical presentation of acute coronary syndrome is retrosternal chest pain radiating to arms and neck which may be intermittent or constant. There are atypical presentations where you might have a bit of epigastric pain, some indigestion, possibly just some fatigue. In general these episodes tend to be worsened by exertion and relieved by rest. Now when it comes on to looking for clinical signs the physical examination is often totally unremarkable but there might be bits to pick up when there are complications of the presentation.
