I remain a fan of Kant, not for the bad reasons, but for the good reasons. If you're not familiar with Kant, you could do worse than reading this book by Roger Scruton. I call this the Mount Everest of philosophical works, particularly for pure reason because it is the tallest, most difficult mountain or philosophical work. It's actually easier to read him in English than he is in the original German. In some parts, and so far as like, as you know, like translations have one big, let's say one big task, namely to convey the content.
