I'm more of a mechanical engineer than an aerodynamicist, and that's really how my education and early career evolved. I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by so many good people, good engineers, that it all rubs off on you. There isn't a bit of a racing car that you don't know after your experience in the sport. So, is modern F1 more evolution rather than revolution? A huge amount of work goes on in CFD and in the wind tunnels to chip away at very, very small differences and understand them.
