The Significance of China's Visit to Ukraine

China has not hit its ambitions to emerge as a deal maker, a peacemaker in the Ukraine conflict involving Russia. The two sides sort of had this very long joint statement about eight areas where they said that they would look to deepen cooperation. On trade specifically, you know, bilateral trade has increased significantly over the last year since the war in Ukraine with China becoming Russia's biggest energy partner.
