The Future of Controls in Sci-Fi

Even in sci-fi we're seeing a blending of sort of physical controls and virtual controls, whether they're volumetric projections or touch screens. And it's for a simple reason, I think, we are human. Until our bodies go away, our hands are pretty good interface operation devices. Touch screens just don't do very well for everything.
