How Chaosium Helped Me Get Paid for My Novel

I've spent a lot of time, especially since I went freelance in 94, trying to improve contracts for work for hire things for authors. Chaosium did not pay me very much as a consultant for the work that I put in on the fiction stuff. But it was also very clear that this was a job that I could do well because I had contacts that went pretty far in both the gaming and fiction markets. And so of course I would help them do that. Whenever I get the opportunity to put that into action, I'm eager for the chance.
